Cathedral Tours
Weekly tour schedule
Guided tours of the cathedral are available all year. Please see the tours timetable below.
Upper Levels tours are £15 per person and must be booked in advance, either with the custodians in the cathedral or on 01856 874 894. The tour takes approximately one hour and 15 minutes, and participants must be minimum 12 years old.
October-March:
Thursday:
- 11am: Upper Levels tour
- 2pm: Upper Levels tour
Saturday:
- 11am: Upper Levels tour
- 2pm: Upper Levels tour
Vouchers
The following gift vouchers are available to buy from the cathedral custodians: Combo voucher for Graveyard tour + Upper Levels tour (£20) or voucher for Upper Levels tour only (£15).
Special Theme tours
Once a month, all year round, the Cathedral Curator will lead a tour on a specialist subject. The tours cost £15 per person – no booking necessary. Please see below for upcoming tours.

Private tours
Bespoke tours for groups can be booked subject to availability – please contact the cathedral on cathedral@orkney.gov.uk or 01856 874 894 for more information. The rate is £15 per person, and the minimum group size is four people. Note that we cannot offer private tours of the upper levels.
